Announcing Katana: First Agglayer CDK Rollup Powered by Conduit, Incubated by GSR & Polygon Labs
Katana is the liquidity hub of the Agglayer and is powered by Conduit, including G2 Sequencer and Conduit Developer Suite.
We’re excited to share that the first Agglayer CDK rollup powered by Conduit is coming to mainnet soon: Katana, incubated by GSR and Polygon Labs.
Katana will serve as the core liquidity hub of the Agglayer. All other Agglayer chains will be able to seamlessly bridge funds from Katana to bootstrap liquidity from the day they deploy. That liquidity is bolstered by several yield-generating mechanisms built into Katana, including:
- VaultBridge: Agglayer’s new bridging protocol that generates yield from all deposited assets
- Agora AUSD: Katana’s native stablecoin that returns treasury-generated yields directly to the community
- Chain-owned liquidity (CoL): Katana sequencer revenue and a portion of app revenue is repurposed as CoL and deployed for more yield
