Conduit Newsletter, May 2025: New Rollup Framework Coming Soon, Gas Research, and More

This month, we have a huge announcement preview, plus gas usage research, new partners, and more!

Who will be Conduit’s new rollup framework?

Big news coming next week: We’re adding support for a new rollup framework – our third alongside OP Stack and Arbitrum. Who will it be? You’ll have to wait and find out! But rest assured – it’s a name you know and love.

New Conduit rollup: CVEX

Derivatives DEX protocol CVEX has migrated to its own Arbitrum L3, powered by Conduit. CVEX is using dedicated blockspace to give users lower fees, tighter spreads, and a better trading experience. Learn more here.

Converge is coming soon and bringing billions in institutional capital

We’re teaming up with Ethena, Securitize, and several other top-tier infrastructure partners to power Converge: the settlement layer bringing billions in institutional capital onchain. Converge is bringing the best of crypto and TradFi together: Tokenized RWAs, stablecoins with crypto-yield, and a DeFi ecosystem on a dual permissionless/permissioned model. Coming to mainnet soon. Learn more here.

The G2 performance highlight reel

Ethereum’s most powerful rollups run on G2. We have the data to prove it. G2 has the highest sustained throughput of any rollup on mainnet since launch, and has reduced transaction latency for customers like Gravity to 7 milliseconds!

Gas Guzzlers: Analyzing the biggest gas users on each blockchain

We looked at one year’s worth of data to identify the protocols dominating gas markets on 13 blockchains. Read up and learn how much the protocols driving their host chains’ financials spend on gas.

What if PumpFun was an Ethreum rollup?

As a follow-up to our gas guzzlers research, we took a deep dive on one of Solana’s biggest gas spenders and asked the question: What would that spending look like on a rollup? The short answer: Onchain costs could virtually disappear. The long answer: Read it here.

WINR case study: Crypto’s biggest decentralized casino

When Team WINR needed to build its iGaming rollup, they came to Conduit. The results? $130M in onchain betting volume, 20K users, peak TPS of 115 – and all with just 0.175 ETH per month in DA costs. Read the case study to learn how Conduit helped WINR build a high-performance Arbitrum L3 to support their decentralized casino.

New Conduit partners: Polymer and Hypernative

We onboarded five new Conduit Marketplace partners this month:

  • Polymer can connect your rollup with 30+ other chains instantly for seamless interoperability.
  • Hypernative warns of you security threats in real-time – before they do damage to your ecosystem.

  • SEDA lets you deploy application-specific oracles in minutes for a range of use cases.
  • VIA Labs allows devs to build cross-chain apps with direct smart contract messaging that spans 200+ public and private networks.

Find them all on Conduit Marketplace. And stay tuned – more great integration partners are on the way.

More Conduit news

Other Conduit happenings in the last month include:

  • We’re rolling out EigenDA V2 on testnets, and block times are down from 10 minutes to 30 seconds. Translation: More throughput is on the way.
  • We published our guide to RWAs: Learn everything you need to know about the assets coming onchain, the tokenization process, why we’re bullish, and more.
  • Our partners at Perennial Labs updated their Perp.fun app with Autopilot – an automated way to copy trade the platform’s top-ranked traders. What’s in it for the traders, you ask? They get 10% of copiers’ profits. A win-win!
