Stablecoin ROI: How payments platforms can 5x revenue onchain

Speaking of institutional adoption, you’ve probably heard the news that Stripe is launching its own chain for stablecoin payments. Other legacy payments giants will likely follow suit. But how big is the opportunity? We broke it down in granular detail on our blog, and found payments platforms can 5x revenue by issuing a stablecoin on their own chain, reaping benefits from investment of stablecoin reserves and cutting out payments middlemen. Read our analysis and use our ROI calculator to run the numbers yourself!

Don’t move coins, move proofs: A new idea for ZK scaling

ZK offers several promising ways to scale Ethereum. Our founder Andrew Huang broke down an exciting one recently: Treat Ethereum as the balance sheet and rollups as the execution layer, with ZK proofs coordinating everything. In this scenario, assets stay in yield-generating vaults on Ethereum mainnet, and a ZK messaging layer passes proofs to apps on rollups showing the funds exist and how the user wants to deploy them (DEX trading, loan collateral, etc.), without the funds ever bridging over. Users could then back many positions and strategies across L2s with the same collateral on mainnet. Read the full breakdown here!
